NOBC is a mission-minded church and we are involved in missions on the local, national, and international levels. Locally, each year our church members volunteer at The Pantry for the months of November & December. Each Christmas season we sponsor the NOBC Angel Tree and provide gifts and a meal for around 20 families a year. Our Senior Adults Nursing Home Ministry visits Graceland Care Center once a month to sing songs and encourage the patients. We also support Sav-A-Life and have volunteers who work as leaders with this ministry. Several of our pastors serve as on-call chaplains at our local hospital as well.

For the University community, we host Rebel Day at the beginning of each school year and serve a complimentary lunch to all Ole Miss students, faculty and staff. Then at each home Ole Miss football game we invite students to join us at our NOBC Tailgatin' Tent as an outreach ministry for students. We also participate in the annual Ole Miss Move In Day, where we help students move in to their dorms and hand out bottled water along with information about our church. In addition, we offer much support to the Baptist Student Union, FCA, Campus Crusade and other campus ministries as well as Lafayette Association Missions.

On the state level, our church members have served, and continue to serve, on many mission teams who have helped in the recovery efforts on our Gulf Coast. The "Flying Elephants" are a group of men from our church who have made many trips to the coast to help rebuild homes and share the love of Christ with those who are still hurting from the disaster of Hurricane Katrina. Our church's Family Life Center is set to be a Red Cross shelter whenever the need should arrise. We also contribute to our State Missions Offering and Mission Mississippi yearly and help with a church plant in Clinton, MS.

NOBC also has a church plant in Vancouver, British Columbia and over Spring Break sent several of our college students to serve there for a week. Many of our youth and college students participate in US and International Missions Programs each summer as well. Our "Driven" Student Ministry has worked with World Changers in several states through the years and also participates, along with some of our other church members, with Habitat for Humanity. During the summer of 2009 our "Camp Impact" youth helped renovate the homes of several of our local families of Oxford & Lafayette County.

Internationally, North Oxford is involved with several mission projects. Our members have visited Togo, West Africa with medical teams to offer medical assistance, give eye exams and hold Vacation Bible Schools. We continue to raise funds for the Grace Medical & Educational Center/Bill Collier Memorial Baptist Hospital in Togo.* Construction teams have gone to Cameroon, Africa to help build a church. Others from our church family have participated in mission trips through the Lafayette Association to many different countries. Sharing Christ with people who need Him is our main mission...Loving Jesus, Letting Him Lead. Wherever God leads us to share his love, that's where we want to go.
